No God, No Master is filming in Milwaukee right now. They have wardrobe trailers set up just down the street from my condo. Unfortunately, they wouldn’t let me take pictures while they were shooting.

Definitely Not Definately

Sorry to go off on a rant here, but I’m so tired of seeing the word “definitely” misspelled. There is no “A” in the word. I can’t believe how many people misspell the word. I find it funny when spell checkers suggest “defiantly” and the author accepts. Anyway, if I can help just one person to start spelling “definitely” correctly with this post, I’ll be happy.

Well, I’m changing jobs. I’m headed back to the world of high finance. This time it’s hedge funds. This was the shortest tenure I’ve had at a job, but I know that making the change is the right thing to do.

Dysentery Sucks!

This may be hard to believe, but I have had dysentery for the last week. I’m taking antibiotics now, and they seem to have cleared it up. I’d have to say it was one of the most unpleasant experiences of my life. The worst part was that I had to cancel my trip to Seattle this weekend.

Hola Amigos! I know it’s been a long time since I blogged at you. My first photo has been “published” online. It’s only a matter of time before National Geographic comes calling . The picture they used was from my first trip to New York City. It’s a view of Madison Square Garden from my hotel room.

Gavin Ryne Winslow was born on February 23, 2006 with end-stage renal failure, or congenital kidney failure. Gavyn was born with only 10-15% function in one of his kidneys, and 0% function in the other. Without a kidney transplant, Gavin will not survive.

Luce Band

I just discovered a great new band : Luce. I’ve only heard one song by them, but it was probably the greatest song I’ve ever heard in my life. I have no doubt Luce will become the biggest act in the history of the music. Everyone should run to the store and buy their CD’s, or download them right now. With a name like Luce, there is no way you could be disappointed.

Mr. Furley is Dead

I was sad to read that Don Knotts passed away today at the age of 81. Although most people liked him best as Barney Fife on the Andy Griffith show, I was a bigger fan of his work in Three’s Company. I never got tired of the same scene where Mr. Furley would overhear a conversation between Jack and one of his roommates and take it out of context. Mr. Furley would miss the beginning of the conversation, his view obstructed, would always think that they were doing something completely different(you can guess what ). His cheeks would pucker and eyes bulge out, all the while live studio audience laughing like they had never laughed before. COMEDY GOLD!!

Rest in peace Mr. Furley, you will be missed.
